The 2026 California Desert Association of REALTORS® Scholarship Application period opens December 5, 2025. CDAR Scholarship Applications are intended for high school seniors in the Coachella Valley area, as well as for the child of a REALTOR® or Affiliate member of CDAR. Please note that the Scholarship awards have changed for 2025:
- CDAR will award four (4) $3,000 scholarships to qualified high school seniors, regardless of school
- CDAR will also award one (1) $3,000 to the child of a REALTOR® or Affiliate member.
The qualification criteria for applicants are as follows:
- The student plans to attend a community college, university, or trade/vocational school.
- Must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- The application below must be completed and submitted by the deadline of Friday, February 6, 2026.
- In order to be considered, all required documents must also be uploaded and included with the application. These required documents include:
- A copy of your high school transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation from a counselor and one teacher or outside reference.
- A personal statement from a parent and/or guardian.
- Please make sure that your name, e-mail address, and the name of your high school are in the upper right-hand corner of your personal statement.
- A School Portfolio will be accepted. However, all other above-required documents must still be included in the submission.
- A two-page typed and double-spaced personal statement on the following: “What is your life/career goal and how would you bring it back to your community?” (Statement is not to exceed 500 total words)
- An incomplete application packet will not be accepted. Any incomplete packets must be completed again in full by the deadline in order to be considered.
Our Scholarship awards are the pride of the association, and it is a great way for CDAR to give back to the community and to students who often need that money for books, supplies, and school in general. The CDAR Scholarship Application is an online application. All students must meet the criteria listed in the application and submit all required documents to be considered. The application is available starting Friday, December 5, 2025 and must be submitted by Friday, February 6, 2026. No applications will be accepted following this date.
