If you are new to the business or are thinking about becoming a real estate agent, then you most likely have a few questions. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive. If you don’t find the answers you’re looking for here, please don’t hesitate to contact our Member Services Department.

What is the cost to join?

The cost depends on if you are a new member or a returning member. The total would depend on time of year that you join. Please refer to the Membership Fees page for a full breakdown.

When are dues renewed?

REALTOR dues are renewed every January and MLS is paid quarterly. Please refer to the Membership Fees page for a full breakdown.

Do I have to get a Supra eKEY when I join?

No, you can get a Supra eKEY any time after your account has been activated. For more information regarding Supra, please refer to the Supra page.

How do I get access to ZipForms?

Once your REALTOR® membership has been activated, use the information CDAR provides in your welcome email to register.

Once I submit my application, how long until my membership is active?

It usually takes two business days to confirm all information and active your membership.

Do you sell custom signs with our names on them?

No, we sell generic signs and brown & beige signs approved for HOA communities.

Do you have education classes?

Yes, we offer education classes ranging from MLS trainings to license renewals.

Can I make payments on my annual REALTOR dues?

Unfortunately, REALTOR dues are due at the time your membership application is submitted.

Can I join the association/MLS without a broker?

In order to join our association/MLS, your license must be hung with a broker that is a member with CDAR/MLS.

Is there a cost to attend General Membership Meetings, education classes or other events?

General Membership Meetings are free and only available for CDAR members to attend. Education courses and other events may have a fee for attendance. The fees will be noted on the flyer and website for members and non-members.

Do you have autopay?

We do offer autopay for the quarterly MLS dues which you can set up on our website Please note that this can only be done with an open invoice.

Supra auto deducts monthly from a credit card you put on file with them for your eKEY service.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express), cash, personal or company check.

Do I have to have E&O Insurance?

You would need to speak with your broker regarding this.
