The Desert Area Commercial Information Exchange has undergone a rebrand as So Cal Commercial Connect (SCCC), your Commercial MLS for the Southern California region! While our MLS still caters to the Desert Cities and Greater Palm Springs area, we have expanded our reach into the Southern California market to allow you to have access to more listings, more coverage, and more exposure for you and your business!

The California Desert Association of REALTORS® is one of only a handful of Associations in the country to have a fully-dedicated commercial resource like SCCC. We are confident that our members with commercial listings are in good hands with SCCC – as they’re still in our hands.

What Has Changed from DACIE to SCCC?

As we mentioned, the Desert Area Commercial Information Exchange has been replaced with So Cal Commercial Connect, along with a new way to access your account and to search for a wider area of listings, with new and improved search functionality.

What Do I Need to Know About the Upgrade?

We are changing over to an upgraded version of our Commercial MLS through Moody’s as of March 14, 2022. Both the old DACIE system and the new SCCC upgraded MLS system will run parallel during a two-week period starting February 28, 2022. During this parallel period, you will see a box with an option to click to be redirected to the new platform to review before the official cutover. This will be available for two weeks.

When you log in starting on Monday, February 28, 2022 through the DACIE system, you will see a box with an option to click to be redirected to the new platform to review before the official cut-over date of March 14, 2022.

Please note that during the parallel period, please do not add any listings to the new system. Any additions or edits to any listings will not be captured in the upgraded system until the conversion period ends on March 14, 2022. Following that date, the old system will go away and only the new system will remain, and you can add and edit listings in the new system without issue.

Here are some things you need to know about this change:

Username Change Your username will now be your e-mail that is associated with your account, and your password will remain the same.
The Log In Process You will no longer use the DACIE website to log in. Now, under the Commercial tab at the CDAR website, you will click “Login” to access the system, or the login link here.
Account Access Once you have logged in, click your picture at the top right of the login page and check your profile for accuracy. You may also want to check the accuracy of the listings.
E-mail Preferences You can reset your e-mail preferences from the main search box by clicking “E-mail Preferences”.
Listing IDs Individual listing IDs will change. Please check to see if you are using current IDs for promotion.
Saved Searches & Catalogs Your Saved Searches and Catalogs will not be migrated over to the new system. These will need to be re-established on the new upgraded version (Catalogs will also be known as “Lists” going forward).
Business Opportunity Business Opportunity will not be a Property Type on the new platform
Training & Help Training videos and tutorials will be made available in the “Help” section on the log-in page.

What Can I Expect from this New System?

The upgraded Commercial MLS will be a modern platform used by commercial real estate professionals across North America to share information, research properties, market listings, prospect, and do business. You will be able to experience the benefits of this new platform, such as:

A Property-Centric System This new property-centric system allows for one property record for active listings, sales/leases, and historical property data.
Seamless Integration There will be a seamless integration to, Moody’s national public marketplace.
Enhanced Listing Traffic Expect a more enhanced listing traffic and better lead generation with this new platform.
Robust Searches The new platform offers a robust geospatial property search.
Tax & Assessor Info Get better access to tax and assessor information for your listings!
Broadcast E-mails You will have access to new broadcast e-mail capabilities for a wider reach!
Better Reports Get access to new and improved reports to provide for your clients.
