The California Desert Association of REALTORS® (“CDAR“) has reached a Strategic Alliance with the East Valley Association of REALTORS® (“EVAR“). With EVAR – a financially strong association with a net worth over $2 million and a membership base of over 2,000 – as a strategic partner, we can provide more benefits and services to you, our members!
With this Strategic Alliance, you will now have three locations to serve you: the CDAR Corporate Office in Palm Desert; the EVAR Corporate Office in Redlands; and the EVAR Mountain Office in Blue Jay (Lake Arrowhead/Crestline area). You will receive REALTOR® member pricing at all three locations and will also have additional options for training and education at the REALTOR® member price.
This alliance is also an opportunity for CDAR to provide CRMLS as an MLS option for our membership. This means that our members will have the option of choice between FLEX MLS and CRMLS as their primary MLS front-end. CDAR will continue to provide FLEX as our primary MLS option, and this alliance provides an opportunity for our members to be able to have the option to use CRMLS at an affordable cost should they choose to take advantage.
In order to gain access to CRMLS, members will need to contact CDAR so that we can facilitate the process. Members that decide to use CRMLS as their MLS option will show as being billed through EVAR, our strategic partner. For current CRMLS pricing, please contact the CDAR office for details.
Through this alliance, a higher level of customer service is achieved, with staff support from both CDAR and EVAR. This includes training with staff that is highly experienced with both FLEX and CRMLS/Matrix, so whichever MLS you choose, we are here to support you. This agreement also allows both CDAR and EVAR to source for outside services whenever required should they prove to be mutually beneficial to both associations. And since both associations share legal counsel, any issues of joint interest to the associations shall be a shared expense.
