Desert Dynamics Reporting Processes Expanded, Starting in December 2024
We are pleased to announce that due primarily to CDAR member feedback, our members-only platform, Desert Dynamics, will soon be updated to include ALL Coachella Valley sales activity, and not only that of GPS member agents and firms.
Effective with our next update in early December, reported statistical results will now include all Coachella Valley listings regardless of the native MLS from which they are sourced. In addition to Greater Palm Springs MLS, the MLSs to be included are CRMLS, CLAW (GPSR), Conejo/Simi/Moorpark, and Bridge (CA East Bay areas.) This change will add slightly to the historical results of the previous publications now that the additional MLSs are included.
The objective of this change is to provide statistical marketplace analysis that is as close as possible to member agents’ abilities to search across the source MLSs available within our GPS MLS user interface. The Desert Dynamics monthly statistical summary reports in PDF format, available within the application, will also be expanded to include these MLSs.
