C.A.R. Legal Town Halls: Learn to Use C.A.R.’s New Referral Fee Disclosure Form

The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) is releasing new and revised standard forms on December 16th. Among these forms is the new REALTOR® Acknowledgement and Disclosure Form (RAD).

There are three Town Halls for this form currently scheduled, and all will be held via Zoom. You can register for any of the three sessions below:

You may attend multiple townhalls, though please note that the content will be similar. These townhalls will NOT be recorded, so it is critical that you register and attend one of the LIVE sessions. The new REALTOR® Acknowledgement and Disclosure Form (RAD) is an important new form introduces enhanced language regarding real estate transaction referral fees, giving REALTORS® a standardized and transparent way to disclose referral-related compensation. Using the RAD form helps you:

  • Clearly communicate to clients if referral fees are part of the transaction.
  • Ensure consumers understand how and whether referral fees are involved.
  • Provide full transparency around all sources of compensation, supporting compliance efforts.
