The 5th Annual Gregg D. Spierling Memorial Golf Tournament

2019gsgt web1

The Fifth Annual Gregg D. Spierling Memorial Golf Touranment has its date - Monday, May 6, 2019! Join us for golf, prizes, fun and more at the Indian Wells Country Club in Indian Wells, CA. Check-in starts at 11 AM and a Shotgun Start of 12:30 PM, with the dinner and awards ceremony following the field of play.

Now in its fifth year, the tournament is in memory of the late Gregg D. Spierling, a longtime CDAR affiliate member who was very involved in the annual CDAR golf tournament. It's a day where members can golf for fun or to win coveted prizes in the early afternoon, and then retire to the clubhouse for an amazing dinner and awards ceremony in the evening. This year's tournament will be played at the Indian Wells Country Club. For the first time ever, the tournament will be played on the Cove Course! It's an exciting development and we are thrilled to bring you the opportunity to play on a brand new course!

The funds raised from the Gregg D. Spierling Golf Tournament supports the CDAR Scholarship Fund. Every year, CDAR awards scholarships to high school seniors from around the Coachella Valley. Raising money during the tournament plays a big part in allowing CDAR to give back to the community. We can only do that with the continued support of our members and those that help out with events just like this, and we invite you to participate in this year's tournament, especially if it's your first time! It's a wonderful event that you won't soon forget!

Ethics Deadline Was Dec. 31!

narethics 01

As many REALTOR® members are already aware, the National Association of REALTORS® is requiring all REALTOR® members to take their Code of Ethics training every two years. The deadline for the previous cycle was December 31, 2018. The new cycle runs from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020. If you did NOT complete your ethics by 2018 during the previous cycle, you still MUST do so or risk suspension of service or inactivation!

Whether you need to still take the ethics from last cycle or want to get an early start on the current cycle, it's easy: just take the requirement online! Click the link here and take the FREE online ethics course provided by the National Association of REALTORS® (to access, you must create an account with NAR if you have not done so already).

If you were unable to do so by the December 31, 2018 deadline, you MUST complete ethics NOW to avoid any suspension of service. For more information and a quick FAQ about the NAR Code of Ethics requirement, click the link here!
