Ethics Deadline is Dec. 31!

narethics 01

As many REALTOR® members are already aware, the National Association of REALTORS® is requiring all REALTOR® members to take their Code of Ethics training every two years. The deadline for the current cycle is the end of the year on December 31, 2018, which means you have less than two weeks left to complete your Code of Ethics training for this cycle if you have not done so already.

Those that do not complete this requirement run the risk of membership suspension or inactivation. To avoid this, it's easy: just take the requirement online! Click the link here and take the FREE online ethics course provided by the National Association of REALTORS® (to access, you must create an account with NAR if you have not done so already).

Make sure to do so by December 31, 2018, to avoid any suspension of service. For more information and a quick FAQ about the NAR Code of Ethics requirement, click the link here!

CA Wildfire Crisis

“We are in a crisis and need your help.”

This is from an email we received from Ellie Rosebush, the association executive of the Oroville Association of REALTORS®, who lost her home in last week’s Northern California wildfire and had to be evacuated.

Last week’s wildfires in Northern and Southern California are now the deadliest in the state’s history. To date, the fires have destroyed thousands of structures, taken more than 60 lives and counting, and wiped away an entire town. Thousands of people have been displaced and are in need of a place to live, including many in the REALTOR® family. Several members have written us telling us how they barely escaped with their lives.

Through its Disaster Relief Fund, C.A.R. stands ready to help REALTOR® family members who have been impacted by these disasters. Grants provided by the fund are used to help members of the REALTOR® family -- REALTORS®, their staff, and Association members and their staff.
